Thank you for your offerings of these great shows. I am in the process of downloading the CBSRMT, which I enjoyed as a kid growing up. These are awesome!

Hi Bill,
Thanks for everything you do and provide. These broadcasts make my drive to and from work more enjoyable.
I started out listening to AFRTS broadcasts of The Whistler and Lone Ranger while stationed in Germany in 1977. Later I started purchasing cassette tapes of episodes of The Shadow and downloading text files of the pulps. From there I started purchasing episodes on CD/DVD from eBay auctions. I have downloaded quite a bit from Binary News Groups. After having done all that, I found your website and have started downloading Mystery Detectives like Richard Diamond and Nick Carter.

I've just discovered your site. It's amazing. Thank you so much for your generosity, both in time and finances -- I understand this must be an enormous undertaking.
Right now I'm not feeling well, and it's such an escape for me to be able to listen to Rudy Vallee's radio shows while I lie in bed.

Hi Bill: Just a note to tell you how much I appreciate your site. Is it possible for you to download any other pulp magazines like the Masked Rider. It's fun checking out the old ads particularly the insurance ads for family medical insurance "$100 paid daily for medical bills for only $.03 a day. As you know, the pulp magazines were partly responsible for many of the radio shows i.e. the Shadow, Nick Carter, True Detective Mysteries, the Spider (he became a Columbia serial, but never a radio show). Also your selection of historical recordings are very entertaining and useful to history teachers and scholars. Keep up the good work. Mike Newton aka the Dialturner on the OTR fan site.

Thanks for having all these wonderful shows, Bill! I just finished downloading HAVE GUN WILL TRAVEL from you. Of course, the "Paladin" I remember from my youth was Richard Boone I must not have heard the radio version with John Dehner (Frontier Gentleman himself) but their voices aren't too dissimilar, really so I can SEE Richard and HEAR John, if you know what I mean. And there are some hidden gems in here...like the episode "The Monster of Moon Ridge" written by a young writer named Gene Roddenberry. Wonder if he ever wrote anything else? He seemed to have a real talent

thank you for such a great web site
i just love all these old radio programs
Bob from Virginia:
OK, so I'm another Bob coincidentally logged in at the same time and also appreciating the site. I wish there was more information about where all these online OTR collections came from -- who the original collectors, digitizers, etc., beyond the OTRR group. Those radio logs are amazing, for instance. Best wishes...

I've been in/out of your website for a few days and think you have the best selection of titles on the internet. I'm a huge fan of the mystery otr shows and have found your site has many shows I've never heard before. Little difficult to get on my ipod but so worth the effort.
thanks mucho for all your hard work

Hi Bill: I have been to your website over the last couple of days and , although I have already many of the items, I always find some more that interest me and that I don’t have and haven't heard of before.

Re: 07/14/48 episode of Chandu the Magician. This is not a missing episode. There was no episode broadcast on that date.
The story THE SEARCH FOR ROBERT REGENT is complete, however, many of the collections offered for sale do contain a mistake. Episode 41 "Letter Arrives" is usually a duplication of Episode 40..."Douglas Tells Roxor".
I haven't checked yours but if you need a corrected episode 41 I'll be happy to pass it along. 1948-08-24 is the broadcast date for that episode.

What a wonderful wealth of shows! I really appreciate all the hard work you've put into making all of these shows available. The CBSRMT 1998 HB Revival series has been really hard to find. Thank you for making it available. Many blessings to you, my friend.

Hello Bill and happy New Year. I found out about your collection on facebook. You have a great Shadow collection. Seems you have as many John Archer episodes as are available. Blessings and have a good year.
Richard ksliney@verizon:
You have a fantastic site. Untill now, Internet Archives and Calfkiller Otr were but yours has taken over the top spot in my affections. I am almost completly blind, so OTR has become my prime source of entertainment. Thank you for your contribution to my enjoyment.

Just one thing. I sure wish people would stop editing the noise out of Old Time Radio programs. That noise was a PART of radio back in the day and the shows just don't sound right

You know I adore this site. Archive.org has huge selection, granted, but it isn't so easy to FIND things over there.
This site is well-organized and easy to browse.
Bless you, Bill!
And Happy New Year! (a little late).
